Punk music was showing me that I wasn’t put on this Earth to be used by anyone. I was my own captain and my body was my ship. The seed that I held in my heart since birth had been there inside me waiting out the darkness for a sliver of sunlight or a drop of H20 and here it was. The fires had been lit and I was boiling at 711.6667 celsius. I became a Billboard Bandit. I started with Ads that blatantly used sexism to sell their products. They were everywhere telling us that our only power was in being desired. There needed to be another voice saying, “Fuck that!” I was not alone. There never is only one #BILLBOARDBANDIT.
